Reducing coupling PPSU 25-20 Uponor S-Press Plus 1039939
Reduction fitting for Uponor S-Press Plus systems
This PPSU 25-20 reduction fitting, manufactured by Uponor, is used to connect pipes of different diameters in water and heating installations. It allows a transition from a pipe with an outer diameter of 25 mm to a pipe with an outer diameter of 20 mm, ensuring a tight and durable connection. It is a key element in situations where a change in the installation cross-section is required.
The fitting is designed to work with multilayer (MLC) and copper pipes, offering a wide range of applications in various types of installations. Made of high-quality PPSU (polyphenylsulfone) material, it is characterized by high resistance to temperature and pressure.
Design and special features
The fitting has a steel clamping sleeve with an inspection hole, which facilitates control of the connection correctness. Precise fit of the clamping jaw and a unique clamping execution indicator guarantee reliability and safety of the installation. Additionally, the fitting is equipped with a leak test indicator, allowing for quick identification of any leaks.
- Material: Made of PPSU – a material resistant to high temperatures and pressure.
- Clamp: Steel clamping sleeve with inspection hole ensures a secure connection and possibility of control.
- Compatibility: Fully compatible with existing components of the Uponor S-Press Plus system.
- Indicators: Has a clamping execution indicator and leak test for easy identification of correct installation.
- Length: 61 mm, which ensures adequate connection stability.
- Maximum working pressure: 10 bar at 20°C – ensures safe operation of the installation.
Application and operating parameters
The PPSU 25-20 reduction fitting is intended for use in installations:
- Drinking water: Constant operating temperature from 0°C to 70°C at a maximum working pressure of 10 bar. Short-term maximum temperature is 95°C.
- Heating: Constant operating temperature up to 80°C at a maximum working pressure of 10 bar. Short-term maximum temperature is 100°C.
Thanks to PZH certificates, the National Declaration of Performance and DVGW, the fitting meets the highest standards of quality and safety, confirming its reliability in use. GW and GZ threads comply with EN 10226-1 standard.
