The Uponor Smatrix Base Pulse L starter kit is a comprehensive solution for wired temperature control in underfloor heating and cooling systems. It allows for precise control of thermal comfort in each room, as well as optimization of energy consumption thanks to the autobalance function. The system is scalable and easy to use, both for professional installers and end users.

Functionality and possibilities

This kit is the basis for an intelligent heating system that can be expanded with additional components. It allows control of up to 4 controllers in one system, supports up to 6 room thermostats and 8 actuators (24V) per controller. Thanks to the use of the RS485 communication protocol and various cabling methods (serial, star, mixed), the installation is flexible and adapted to individual needs. The kit also offers control of relative humidity as well as pump and boiler relays.

Importantly, the kit works with the Uponor Smatrix Pulse application (available with the R-208 module), providing remote access to system control, analysis of historical trends, timer programming and comfort settings. Integration with popular voice assistants (Amazon Alexa, Google Home) and the IFTTT platform opens up additional possibilities for automation and personalization.
