Uponor Uni Pipe PLUS pipe with a diameter of 20x2.25 mm is a versatile solution for building water supply and heating systems. Made of a combination of high-density polyethylene (PE-RT II) and an aluminum layer, it provides durability and resistance to mechanical damage. The coil length is 100 meters, which facilitates installation over larger areas.

Construction and properties

The five-layer construction of the pipe – inner and outer layers of PE-RT II and a middle layer of aluminum – gives it unique properties. Aluminum acts as an anti-diffusion barrier, limiting the penetration of oxygen into the installation, which is particularly important in heating systems. The flexibility of the pipe (flexible model) makes it easier to run the installation in difficult conditions, and the coefficient of expansion of 0.025 mm/(m.K) minimizes thermal stresses. The wall thickness of 2.25 mm guarantees resistance to working pressure up to 10 bar at a temperature of 20°C and a maximum medium temperature of up to 95°C for a short time.
