This Wipex brass threaded reducer, with GZ 3" x GW 1" connections, is a key element in pre-insulated Ecoflex installations. It provides a durable and tight connection of pipes with different diameters, which is particularly important in hot and cold water systems and low-parameter heating networks. Made of corrosion-resistant and dezincification-resistant brass, it guarantees long-term reliability even in harsh conditions.

Design and application

The reducer is designed to connect PE and PE-Xa pipes, offering quick and easy installation thanks to the O-ring seal. Its design based on cylindrical gas external threads (BSPP) and cylindrical gas internal threads BSPP-G (ISO 228-1) ensures compatibility with a wide range of fittings and accessories. Dezincification-resistant brass (DZR) used for the production of both connection 1 and 2 guarantees resistance to corrosion and longevity. The maximum working pressure of the reducer is 10 bar at a temperature of 20°C.
