Construction and principle of operation

The softener consists of two main elements: a tank with ion exchange resin with a capacity of 70 liters and a separate brine tank. The Clack control head automatically manages the softening and resin regeneration process. Hard water flows through the resin, where calcium and magnesium ions are exchanged for sodium ions, resulting in a reduction in water hardness. Regular resin regeneration with brine ensures its continuous efficiency. Thanks to the bypass, the softener allows bypassing the softening process if necessary – e.g. when watering the garden, where hard water may be beneficial for plants.
