The OMAX PN30 DN40 brass ball valve is a high-end fitting designed specifically for professional installers working with water supply and heating installations. Thanks to its maximum operating parameters and robust construction, it ensures reliability for many years of operation.

Operating parameters and performance

The device operates at a nominal pressure of PN30 (3,0 MPa) at temperatures up to 120°C, and at a reduced pressure of 1,0 MPa, it reaches a maximum temperature of 150°C. The nominal diameter DN40 (1 1/2") allows for the flow of large quantities of medium, making it ideal for larger installations. The valve maintains full functionality in both cold and hot domestic water installations as well as central heating systems.

Application and compatibility

The valve performs excellently in various systems - from domestic installations to advanced industrial applications. It can work with clean water as well as with a mixture of water and glycol (up to 50% glycol content), which extends its use to heating installations requiring anti-freeze additives. The internal thread allows for easy connection to a 1 1/2 inch diameter pipeline.

Construction and materials

The body is made of high-quality brass - a corrosion-resistant material that ensures long-term tightness. All elements in contact with the medium have been coated with protective layers: the body and nut with a nickel layer, and the ball with chrome for maximum wear resistance. The ball and stem seals are made of PTFE (teflon) - a material with excellent sealing properties and resistance to high temperatures.

The carbon steel lever coated with plastic ensures ergonomic operation and good thermal insulation during flow regulation. The reinforced body construction guarantees resistance to mechanical damage and stable operation even under varying operating conditions throughout the entire period of use covered by the manufacturer's warranty.
