Throughway valve cast iron (figure M83) VIKING, malleable white cast iron, cast iron handle, 1 1/4 inch female thread. 1295150
Throughway valve made of white ductile iron, designed for water and technical installations. The construction based on the proven M83 figure ensures reliable operation and durability. It is ideal for both residential and industrial buildings where resistance to corrosion and high loads is required.
Construction and materials
The valve is characterized by a solid construction. The body is made of white ductile iron, which translates into a number of benefits compared to traditional materials – increased resistance to cracking (even by 45%), better tightness (up to 35%) and higher corrosion resistance (up to 30%). Additionally, the threads made of this material are more resistant to tearing during assembly (even by 60%), which minimizes the risk of damage during installation. The valve handle is also made of iron, which guarantees its durability and resistance to weathering – low and high temperatures and UV radiation.
Application and operating parameters
The VIKING throughway valve with a 1 1/4 inch thread is used in water supply, heating systems and technical installations. It can be used to shut off the flow of medium in pipelines. The maximum working pressure is 10 bar, and the nominal PN is also 10 bar. This means that the valve meets the requirements of most standard installations.
- The valve is intended for use with media that are not hazardous to white ductile iron.
- The iron handle provides convenient operation and reliable flow control.
- The valve design allows for easy installation and removal if servicing or replacement is required.
- The use of high-quality materials guarantees long life and trouble-free operation of the device.
