3-way mixing valve Controlmix DN40 6096300
Mixing valve for precise temperature control
This three-way Controlmix DN40 mixing valve is a key component in heating systems, especially those with underfloor heating. Its function is to precisely combine the hot medium from the boiler with the cooler return to obtain the optimal supply temperature for the circuit – ideal for low-temperature systems such as underfloor heating (30-35°C), while maintaining a higher temperature in the installation itself. This solution allows for efficient use of the boiler's potential and ensures thermal comfort throughout the house.
The valve is not limited to just mixing. It can also function as a diverter valve, directing the flow to two different circuits. This increases its versatility and allows for flexible adaptation of the installation to individual needs.
Design and application
The valve is made of high-quality brass, which guarantees its durability and corrosion resistance. PTFE sliding inserts minimize flow resistance and reduce the risk of stem scaling, ensuring smooth and trouble-free operation for a long time. The ribbed knob with an anti-slip finish makes it easy to precisely set the desired temperature – a clear scale allows for accurate setting.
- Applications:
- Heating and cooling installations
- Underfloor heating (temperature mixing)
- Flow diversion to two circuits
- Possibility of mounting on the supply or return to the boiler
Key features and parameters
The Controlmix valve is characterized by a high flow coefficient Kv of 23 m³/h, which means its efficiency even in larger installations. It is suitable for operation with water and glycol (up to 50% concentration). It withstands operating temperatures from -10°C to 110°C and a nominal pressure of 1.0 MPa. A Polish product is a guarantee of quality and service availability. Additionally, the valve is compatible with VALVEX ST 10/230 or STM 10/230 actuators, which allows for automation of the mixing process and maintaining a constant temperature in the system.
