Nickel-plated ball valve with aluminum butterfly damper (MAl) (N-W version) TRYTON 1/2 inch 1452170
Ball valve with nickel-plated throttling – a reliable solution for installations
Ball valve with throttling, equipped with an aluminum butterfly handle, is an element used to precisely regulate the flow of medium in installations. Made of high-quality brass (CuZn40Pb2 – CW617N), it ensures durability and corrosion resistance. This model, with a nominal diameter of 1/2 inch, is designed to operate at a maximum pressure of 40 bar and a temperature of up to 140°C. The valve's construction is designed for easy installation and high connection tightness.
Construction and application
The valve has an internal gas tapered BSPP-G thread (ISO 228-1) on one side and an external gas tapered BSPP thread on the other, allowing universal connection to various installation elements. The brass ball and housing guarantee mechanical and chemical resistance. Additionally, a self-cleaning stem ensures smooth valve operation and minimizes the risk of failure. A locking mechanism for the ball seals prevents their movement, which translates to long-term tightness. Each valve undergoes a leak test with compressed air – this guarantees quality and reliability.
Advantages and benefits for the installer and user
- Durability and resistance: Construction from CW617N brass ensures corrosion resistance and long life in demanding conditions.
- Precise regulation: The throttling with an aluminum butterfly handle allows accurate adjustment of the medium flow.
- High tightness: The construction with a locking mechanism for the seals and compressed air leak test guarantee no leaks.
- Easy installation: BSPP threads facilitate quick and easy connection to the existing installation.
- Smooth operation: A self-cleaning stem ensures smooth opening and closing of the valve, reducing the risk of jamming.
- Safety: The valve operates safely at a pressure of up to 40 bar, protecting the installation from overload.
- Versatility: Suitable for various applications in water, heating systems and gas installations (in accordance with applicable standards).
