The PIZA PN25 Y-strainer is a fitting element designed for mechanical water purification in water supply, heating, solar and air conditioning installations. Its design allows for effective retention of solid impurities such as sand, rust or sediment, protecting valves, water meters and other sensitive components from damage and blockage. Made of brass, it ensures durability and corrosion resistance.

Construction and application

The filter is characterized by a Y-shaped design, which minimizes pressure loss in the installation. It has an internal gas thread BSPP-G (ISO 228-1) with a diameter of 6/4 inch (1 1/2 inch), which facilitates installation and integration with the existing system. The material of manufacture – brass CuZn40Pb2 (CW617N) – guarantees strength and resistance to external factors. This makes the filter suitable for both domestic and industrial installations.

It is worth paying attention to the pressure class PN 25, which determines the maximum working pressure of the filter. The connection length is 105 mm, which should be taken into account when planning the installation. The filter does not have a permanent magnet or a drain (outlet) option. Its solid construction ensures stable operation for a long time.
