It works by evaporating water, which is a moistened fiberglass matrix. When water is intensively evaporated to go from liquid to gaseous, it takes up heat. As a result, the air flowing through the cooler, in which the glass fiber matrix is constantly moisturized, cools down. At the same time, the air humidity increases, but because the adiabatic cooler is placed on the exhaust duct in front of the recuperator, all the moisture is thrown outside, and the cold air cools the outside air in the recuperator's exchanger, which is directed to the supply rooms: living room, bedroom, office.
