KERMI HRV recovery systems insulated elbow
This is an insulated elbow designed for building efficient and energy-saving ventilation systems with heat recovery (rekuperacja). It allows connecting ducts of different diameters – 160 mm and 125 mm – at angles of 90° or 45°. This makes it easy to adapt to the specific configuration of the system in your home.
The elbow is made in a layered technology: the outer layer of durable polyethylene (PE) protects against mechanical damage and moisture, and the inner insulation of polyolefin foam minimizes heat loss and prevents condensation of water vapor. This translates into stable system operation and reduces the risk of mold formation.
Practical solution for installers and users: one elbow, two possibilities – 90° or 45° angle. Simply cut the elbow in half to obtain two elements at a 45° angle, allowing for flexible adaptation to installation needs.
Construction and application
The HRV elbow is an element connecting sections of ventilation ducts in recovery systems. Its construction ensures a tight connection, which is crucial for efficient heat recovery and maintaining a comfortable indoor climate. The use of thermal insulation reduces thermal bridges and reduces energy losses. Installation is done using system connectors with EPDM, which guarantees the durability and reliability of the connection.
