Kermi Smiley valve with an aluminum cover is an element of a ventilation system that combines functionality with aesthetics. Designed for both air supply and exhaust, it is ideal for kitchens, but also suitable for other rooms requiring precise airflow control. The valve diameter is 230 mm, and the mounting diameter is 125 mm.

Adjustment and performance

A key feature of the Smiley valve is the ability to easily and precisely adjust the airflow. Two rotary dials with a scale allow accurate adjustment, according to the designer's calculations – Kermi projects include ready-made settings for anemostats in relation to the scale. The maximum recommended flow rate is 75 m³/h. The valve design utilizes the Coanda effect, which allows for efficient distribution of supplied air across the ceiling, providing freedom in choosing the location of the air supply.

Construction and materials

The Smiley valve is made of plastic with an EPDM seal, ensuring tightness. Additionally, noise-canceling foam is used, which translates to comfortable use. The cover is made of powder-coated aluminum in white (RAL9016) with a fine texture. Powder coating allows effective painting of the cover with wall paints, matching it to the interior color scheme. The double round cover adds an aesthetic look and is a decorative element.
