The Kermi SMILEY valve with a square, rounded aluminum cover is a solution for those who value both functionality and appearance. Designed for installation in ventilation systems, it allows for air flow regulation in residential and commercial premises. Its construction allows it to be used as a supply or exhaust valve.

The Smiley valve is distinguished by its ease of adjustment – two-turn dials with a scale allow for precise setting of the air flow, according to the project requirements. This is particularly important for professional installers who can refer to design calculations and set the diffuser with high accuracy. Made of plastic with an EPDM seal and sound-absorbing foam, it minimizes noise during operation. The powder-coated aluminum cover ensures durability and an aesthetic appearance.

Construction and application

The valve has a mounting diameter of 125 mm and a recommended maximum flow rate of 75 m³/h. The square cover with dimensions of 230x230 mm is made of powder-coated aluminum in white (RAL9016). The possibility of painting the cover with wall paints allows for a perfect match to the interior color scheme. The valve design allows for effective use of the Coanda effect during supply – distributes air across the entire ceiling, giving freedom in choosing the location of the air diffuser.

Thanks to this solution, the air is distributed evenly throughout the room, which translates into user comfort. The choice of SMILEY cover shape is a matter of aesthetics – a round cover is also available, especially recommended for kitchens.
