The Vasco cleanAir anti-smog filter cartridge with active carbon consists of 2 layers:
- ePM 2.5 class> 50% (formerly referred to as M6), which retains most of the dust 2.5 μm and larger.
-activated carbon microgranulate - responsible for binding gaseous chemicals.
The double filter system effectively reduces smog (particulate matter), as well as volatile chemicals from car exhaust and industrial emissions: organic compounds - solvents, hydrocarbons, benzo [a] pyrene, nitrogen and sulfur oxides (combustion of car fuels), as well as many inorganic compounds, e.g. heavy metals such as lead.
