The perforated aluminum tube allows air to flow while dispersing sound energy. Mineral wool absorbs sound waves, and the outer layer protects against mechanical damage and weathering. Supplied compressed, the silencer achieves maximum sound absorption efficiency when stretched to its full length. Rigid spigots at the ends facilitate installation and ensure a tight connection.
