Intended Use and Operating Conditions

The COMPACT HCFT 4 250/HA fan operates in extreme conditions – it is designed for industrial and commercial ventilation where reliability is required in high humidity and dusty environments. It is suitable for use in warehouses, storage facilities, workshops, production halls, parking garages, retail premises, and greenhouses. It can operate at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C and relative humidity up to 95%, making it resistant to winter hall conditions, humid industrial rooms, or exposure to rain and water vapor.

Construction and Durability

The housing is made of extruded steel sheet, coated with cathodic electrocoating and polyester paint – ensuring corrosion resistance and long-term protection even in aggressive environments. The impeller, made of glass-fiber reinforced thermoplastic, is resistant to UV radiation, does not degrade under sunlight exposure, and maintains its balance during prolonged operation. The design is very compact, allowing wall mounting in any position – no need to consider airflow direction during installation.

Motor and Safety

The three-phase, four-pole motor complies with IEC 34-1 and UNE-113 standards and has an IP65 protection rating – fully protected against dust and water jets. Insulation class F guarantees resistance to overheating during prolonged operation. Additionally, it includes thermal winding protection – it automatically shuts down in case of excessive heating, preventing damage. It is compatible with speed regulation via the RTRD 2 transformer-type speed controller (not included), allowing adaptation of performance to current ventilation needs.

Performance Data

At a voltage of 3x400V/50Hz, it achieves an airflow of 1110 m³/h at a rotational speed of 1365 rpm. Maximum power consumption is 73 W, and the rated current is 0.2 A – low energy consumption with stable airflow. The noise level at maximum speed is 49 dB(A), ensuring quiet operation even in areas close to human occupancy. External housing dimensions: 315x315 mm – compact form facilitates installation in confined spaces.
