The TD-350/125 ECOWATT duct fan is a device designed for efficient air exchange in general ventilation systems. Its compact design allows installation in ducts with a diameter of 125 mm, making it a universal solution for apartments, offices, as well as catering establishments and shops. The unit performs equally well in supply and exhaust systems, and thanks to the high efficiency of the ECOWATT motor, it operates economically even in continuous mode.

It is worth noting the possibility of integration with DCV (Demand Controlled Ventilation) control systems. This enables the fan to respond to changes in the demand for fresh air, which is crucial in modern office buildings and energy-efficient homes. It can also cooperate with domestic kitchen hoods, provided they are equipped with anti-grease filters – protecting the mechanism from grease accumulation.

Construction and Ease of Maintenance

The housing of the TD-350/125 model is made of durable plastic, which not only reduces the device weight (approx. 2 kg) but also ensures corrosion resistance. Inside, there is an impeller also made of plastic, which, combined with the DC motor, generates the required airflow at a low noise level. The motor has an IP44 protection rating and insulation class F, guaranteeing safe operation under standard environmental conditions (temperature from -20°C to +40°C).

For installers, the key feature is the construction that allows easy access to the motor without the need to disassemble the entire ventilation duct. It is sufficient to unclip the mounting brackets to access the drive unit – this saves time during inspections or potential repairs. The fan can be mounted both horizontally and vertically, providing great flexibility when installing in hard-to-reach locations.

Benefits of ECOWATT Technology and Control

The main advantage of this series is the use of ECOWATT motors, which offer smooth speed regulation via an analog 0-10 V signal or an external potentiometer (e.g., REB ECOWATT). This allows precise adjustment of the fan's performance to the current needs of the room, avoiding unnecessary noise and energy consumption.

The device achieves a maximum performance of 380 m³/h at a static pressure of 145 Pa, enabling effective overcoming of resistance in shorter duct sections or when filters are present. At such high flow parameters, power consumption does not exceed 20 W, and the noise level drops to 26 dB(A) measured at a distance of 3 meters – a result that makes the fan practically inaudible in typical residential or office spaces.

The motor operates at a speed of approximately 2510 rpm at 230 V, and its weight is only 2 kg, facilitating installation even in hard-to-reach ceiling spaces. Ball bearings ensure long-term trouble-free operation, and thermal winding protection safeguards the motor against overheating in case of overload. This solution is ideal where reliability, quiet operation, and precise airflow control are essential.
