Fan COMPACT HCFT 4 800/LA axial‑wall. 42020010
Intended use and application
The COMPACT HCFT 4 800/LA fan is a solution for large‑volume spaces with intensive air exchange. It operates effectively in production halls, warehouses, wholesale centers, parking lots, workshops, and retail premises. It is also an integral part of air‑conditioning systems – especially where a constant, reliable general ventilation is required without the need for duct installation.
Construction and durability
The housing is made of extruded steel sheet, protected with cathodic electrophoretic coating and a polyester layer – corrosion‑resistant even in humid or aggressive environments. The impeller is made of glass‑fiber‑reinforced thermoplastic, UV‑resistant, ensuring long‑term stability under sunlight exposure or chemical cleaning. Dynamically balanced according to ISO 1940 – minimizes vibration and noise during operation.
The motor is a three‑phase asynchronous motor 230/400 V, 50 Hz, insulation class F. Protection rating IP65 – allows operation in moist, dusty or contaminated conditions without risk of damage. Thermal winding protection guards against overload (except for two‑pole models and larger diameters – not applicable here). Wall‑mountable – can be installed in any orientation, facilitating installation even in confined spaces.
Operating data and service
For model HCFT/4-800/L-X-1.5 (catalog number 42020010) the 1.5 kW motor delivers an airflow of up to 24 960 m³/h at a rotational speed of 1420 rpm – noise level reaches 79 dB(A), and the unit weighs 37 kg. Operating temperature range: –20 °C to +40 °C – the limitation is due to the size (Ø800), but it still allows operation in most industrial halls even in winter. Low‑temperature operation does not affect performance or component lifespan.
The L version (low output) is optimized for efficiency at lower loads – ideal where maximum capacity is not required, but low energy costs and stable operation are important.
