VERANO trench heaters – efficient heating with discretion

Trench heaters with a fan VKN1 are an ideal solution for modern heating installations, especially in the case of building thermal modernization or in places where the installation space is limited. Thanks to their compact dimensions, these heaters can be discreetly integrated into the ceiling, providing even and efficient room heating. VKN1 works perfectly in low-temperature systems, also in rooms with increased humidity.

Design and performance

The VKN1 heater is characterized by high efficiency thanks to the use of a copper-aluminum heat exchanger and an energy-saving EC fan. The fan ensures a quick response to temperature changes, and the low thermal inertia combined with the possibility of using electronic control allows for significant energy savings – even over 20% during the heating season. The heater design has been thought out in terms of easy installation and adjustment, and the tub positioning system allows for precise adaptation to installation conditions.

Equipment and configuration options

The standard equipment includes a galvanized and powder-coated steel tub (RAL 9005), a heat exchanger with an air vent valve, a modern 24V DC EC fan, a connection and fan chamber cover, and GW1/2” connection nipples. Additionally, numerous accessories are available to personalize the heater:

• Tubs powder-coated in any color from the RAL palette.
• Decorative frames made of natural or anodized aluminum (L or F types).
• Aesthetic grilles in various designs.
• Mounting cover protecting against damage during transport and installation.
• Mounting kit for raised floors.
• Bimetallic temperature sensor.
• Adjustable tub rim (requires increasing the width).
• Protective film for the tub and a sleeve for the heat exchanger.
• Air filter (requires increasing the height).
• Modules for BMS systems.

The VKN1-09/14/145 (P) heater has a heating power of 401/975/1476/2136 W (according to EN 442 standard at temperatures of 20°C - 75/65), and its water capacity is 0.32 liters. The maximum working pressure is 10 bar. It is worth noting the possibility of ordering a right-hand (P) or left-hand (L) connection version of the nipples. The external dimensions are: length 1450 mm, depth 90 mm, grate frame width 160 mm, and grate frame height 18 mm.
