Channel convector with fan VKN1 is an ideal solution for installation in places with limited space, especially during building thermal modernization. Its compact dimensions allow installation where traditional channel heaters cannot be used. The use of an economical fan ensures a rapid temperature increase and a shorter response time to setting changes. Additionally, low thermal inertia combined with the possibility of using electronic control translates into noticeable savings during the heating season.

The VKN1 heater is perfect for low-temperature systems, also in rooms with increased humidity. Even heat distribution is another advantage of this type of solution. Made of high-quality materials – aluminum and copper (heat exchanger) and steel (tub) – it ensures durability and reliability. The maximum working pressure is 10 bar, which guarantees safe operation.

Construction features and equipment

The heater is standardly equipped with:

• steel tub (housing), galvanized and powder-coated in black RAL 9005.
• high-efficiency copper-aluminum heat exchanger with an air vent valve.
• modern fan with a quiet and efficient 24V DC EC motor.
• connection box cover and fan cover (grille).
• GW1/2” connection nipples.
• struts and mounting anchors.
• system for adjusting the tub's positioning height.

Optional accessories are also available, such as a tub painted in any RAL color, a decorative aluminum frame, an aesthetic grille, a mounting cover, a raised floor kit, a bimetallic temperature sensor, or an air filter.

User parameters and application

The VKN1 heater is characterized by a water capacity of 0.46 liters and an external depth of 90 mm. The external length of the offered model is 2000 mm, and the width of the grille frame is 160 mm, and the height is 18 mm. The heating power at parameters 20/75/65°C is: 600W / 1461W / 2213W / 3202 W – allowing it to be adapted to different heating needs. The heat exchanger made of aluminum and copper ensures efficient heat exchange. The heater has an air vent, but does not have a drain valve or a watertight tub.

Thanks to the possibility of ordering a tub of non-standard length (NS), the heater can be perfectly adapted to the specifics of a given project. This is especially important during renovations and modernizations of buildings, where non-standard dimensions of ventilation ducts often occur.
