Channel convector with fan – efficient space heating

The VKN5 channel convector is an ideal solution for rooms with large volumes and glazed areas, where high heating power and even heat distribution are crucial. Thanks to the use of a modern, quiet fan and precise control, it provides thermal comfort without disturbing the peace. The device works perfectly in low-temperature systems, and its construction allows for installation in various configurations – along walls, in corners or under windows.

Construction and performance

The VKN5 convector is characterized by a solid construction based on a steel housing (tub) galvanized and powder-coated in black (RAL 9005). The heat exchanger made of copper and aluminum guarantees high efficiency and corrosion resistance. A modern EC 24V DC motor fan ensures quiet and energy-saving operation. Thanks to this, the convector not only effectively heats the room, but also minimizes energy consumption. The device's thermal power at parameters 75/65/20°C is 601/1468/2332 W depending on the operating mode (min/med/max). The maximum heating power reaches as much as 3703 W. The water capacity of the convector is 1.03 liters, which translates into a quick reaction time to temperature changes.

Functionality and equipment

The standard equipment of the convector includes a tub, a high-efficiency heat exchanger with an air vent valve, a modern fan, a connection chamber cover and a fan guard. Additionally, the set includes GW ¾” connection nipples, mounting spacers and mounting anchors. Numerous optional accessories are also available, such as a tub painted in any RAL color, a decorative frame, an aesthetic grille or a mounting cover protecting against damage during transport and installation. The possibility of using an air filter further improves the air quality in the heated room. The convector has an air vent valve to facilitate maintenance of the heating system. The maximum working pressure of the device is 10 bar, which ensures safe operation.
