Convector with fan – efficient space heating

The VKN5 convector is an ideal solution for rooms with large volumes and glazed surfaces, where significant heating power is required. Thanks to the use of a modern, quiet fan and precise control, it provides thermal comfort without disturbing the peace. The device works well in both residential and commercial buildings, as well as in historic buildings. Its versatility allows for mounting near glazed walls, as a corner or arched element.

Construction and performance

The VKN5 convector is characterized by high efficiency thanks to the use of a copper-aluminum heat exchanger and an energy-saving EC fan powered by 24V. Low thermal inertia and electronic regulation allow for quick response to temperature changes and achieving savings in the heating season, estimated at over 20%. The convector design ensures even heat distribution in the room. The maximum working pressure is 10 bar.

Equipment and configuration options

The standard equipment includes a galvanized and powder-coated steel casing (RAL 9005), a heat exchanger with an air vent valve, a modern EC fan, a connection box cover and a fan guard. Additionally, configuration options are available:

• Casing color: possibility of painting in any color from the RAL color palette.
• Framing: decorative aluminum L or F type framing.
• Grille: wide selection of grilles made of various materials (wood, aluminum, stainless steel).
• Accessories: mounting cover, raised floor kit, vibration damping tape, bimetallic temperature sensor, adjustable casing rim, protective film for the casing and heat exchanger, and air filter.
• BMS integration: possibility of connection to building management systems (BMS).

The VKN5 convector is available in various dimensions:

• Channel height (H): 75 mm, 90 mm, 140 mm, 180 mm
• Channel width (B): 250 mm, 300 mm, 350 mm
• Channel length (Lk): from 800 mm to 2750 mm (custom lengths - NS available).

The water capacity of the convector is 1.16 liters. The heating power at parameters 75/65/20°C is: 641 W / 1564 W / 2486 W / 3947 W for Min / Med / Max operating modes. The heat exchanger material is a combination of aluminum and copper, providing high heat exchange efficiency and corrosion resistance. The casing is made of steel.
