Channel convector VKN5 is a solution for demanding installations, especially in spaces with large windows. The device combines high heating power with a discreet design, making it ideal for both residential and commercial buildings. Thanks to the use of a modern, low-power fan and quiet operation, it provides thermal comfort without disturbing users.

Construction and performance

The VKN5 convector is characterized by a solid construction based on a steel housing (tray) galvanized and powder-coated in black (RAL 9005). The heat exchanger made of aluminum and copper guarantees efficient heat transfer to the surroundings. The EC fan with low energy consumption ensures even temperature distribution in the room, and its quiet operation is particularly appreciated in places requiring concentration. The maximum working pressure of the device is 10 bar, which ensures safety in standard heating installations.

Application and installation

VKN5 channel convectors are widely used in low-temperature systems. Their installation under the floor, combined with an elegant finishing grille, allows for almost invisible integration of the device into the interior design. These heaters are particularly recommended for installation near windows, where they create a barrier protecting against the cold flowing down the panes. Various channel sizes are available – heights of 75, 90, 140 and 180 mm and widths of 250, 300 and 350 mm – as well as the possibility of ordering a tray of non-standard length (NS), which allows you to adapt the device to individual project needs. Mounting struts and anchors are included in the set to facilitate installation.

Additional equipment and configuration options

In addition to standard equipment, VKN5 convectors can be equipped with a number of accessories that increase their functionality and aesthetics. Trays painted with powder coating in any color from the RAL palette, decorative frames made of natural or anodized aluminum, and aesthetic grilles made of various materials (wood, aluminum, stainless steel) are available. Additionally, a mounting cover can be ordered to protect the heater during transport and installation, a mounting kit for raised floors, and a tape to dampen vibrations between the tray and the grille. For advanced control systems, BMS modules and bimetallic temperature sensors are also available. The air vent valve is an integral part of the heat exchanger ensuring years of trouble-free operation of the device.
