Collapsible grille – a practical solution for ducted heating and air conditioning systems

The golden anodized aluminum collapsible grille is a finishing element that can be used in heating and air conditioning installations. A T-profile with dimensions of 25x230 mm provides stability and an aesthetic appearance. This is particularly important when installing ducted heaters and fan coil units, where the grille serves both as a decorative and air distribution function.

Construction and mounting

The grille made of anodized aluminum is characterized by high corrosion resistance and mechanical damage resistance. It is standardly equipped with black PVC sleeves, spaced 13 mm apart. These sleeves serve as a spacer between the grille bars, ensuring even airflow. Additionally, PVC sleeves in other colors (gray, beige, light brown, dark brown) are optionally available, allowing you to match the grille to the interior color scheme.

Applications and compatibility

The collapsible grille is a dedicated accessory for popular models of ducted heaters VK12, VK15, VKN1, VKN2 SILENT, VKN5, SVKN1 and VKN5P. It will also work with CVK2, CVK4, CVK2P and CVK4P fan coil units. Remember to include the grille in your order – it is a separate element that is not standardly included with heaters or fan coil units.

Additional information for installers

When installing the grille, it is worth paying attention to the possibility of using a frame (available separately) to mask the space between the floor and the heater duct. The frame is available in various finishes (natural aluminum, anodized or lacquered) and types (L and F). The frame is mounted using silicone adhesive – caution should be exercised during installation to avoid deformation of the heater duct.
