Collapsible grille – a practical solution for radiators and fan coil units

The collapsible grille made of anodized aluminum in gold color is a finishing element that will find its application in heating and air conditioning installations. Made of a 25x200 mm I-beam profile, it provides an aesthetic appearance and functionality. This is particularly important when mounting channel radiators, where the grille is a visible element of the system.

The grille is standardly equipped with black PVC sleeves, spaced 13 mm apart. These sleeves serve both an aesthetic and protective function, preventing damage to the grille slats. Additionally, PVC sleeves in other colors – gray, beige, light brown and dark brown – are optionally available, allowing you to match the grille to the interior color scheme.

Application and compatibility

The collapsible grille is a dedicated accessory for popular models of VK12, VK15, VKN1, VKN2 SILENT, VKN5, SVKN1 and VKN5P radiators. It will also work with CVK2, CVK4, CVK2P and CVK4P fan coil units. Remember to include the grille in your order – it is not supplied with the radiator or fan coil unit as a standard element.

Construction and mounting

Thanks to its collapsible design, the grille is easy to install and remove, making it easier to access the inside of the heating or air conditioning channel for servicing or cleaning. It is possible to order a frame for the grille in various versions (type L or F) and materials (natural aluminum, anodized or painted), which mask the space between the floor and the radiator channel tub. The frame is mounted using silicone adhesive. In the case of VK15 and VKN channel radiators, it is recommended to order the frame at the same time as the radiator due to differences in the construction of the radiator tub with and without a frame.
