Collapsible grille – a practical solution for ducted heating and air conditioning systems

The golden anodized aluminum collapsible grille is a finishing element for use in heating and air conditioning installations. The I-beam profile with dimensions of 25x215 mm provides stability and an aesthetic appearance. This is particularly important when installing ducted heaters and fan coil units, where the grille is a visible element of the system.

The grille is standardly equipped with black PVC sleeves spaced 13 mm apart. This spacing ensures adequate airflow while minimizing the risk of larger objects entering the installation. Additionally, PVC sleeves in other colors – gray, beige, light brown and dark brown – are optionally available, allowing it to be matched to the interior design.

Application and compatibility:

The collapsible grille is designed for mounting with VK12, VK15, VKN1, VKN2 SILENT, VKN5, SVKN1, VKN5P heaters and CVK2, CVK4, CVK2P and CVK4P fan coil units. Please remember to include the grille in the order as an additional element.

Construction and mounting:

Made of anodized aluminum, the grille is characterized by durability and corrosion resistance. It is also possible to order a grille frame in various versions – natural aluminum, anodized or painted – allowing it to be adapted to the specifics of the installation. The L or F type frame conceals the space between the floor and the heater channel tub and is mounted with silicone adhesive. In the case of VK15 and VKN channel heaters, it is recommended to order the frame at the same time as the heater due to differences in the tub design.

• The maximum length of a grille section is 6000 mm.
• The L and F type aluminum frame is an element masking the space between the floor and the channel heater tub.
• The manufacturer is not responsible for problems related to the frame installation resulting from incorrect heater installation.
