Rolled aluminum grille – functionality and aesthetics
The rolled aluminum grille is a practical and elegant solution for finishing air ducts and fan coil units. Made of an I-beam profile (type 35x165), it provides effective air circulation while looking modern and discreet. Anodizing the aluminum guarantees corrosion resistance and mechanical damage, which translates to a long product life. The black color of the grille blends perfectly with various interior arrangements.
Application and compatibility
The grille is an additional accessory for popular models of channel heaters VK12, VK15, VKN1, VKN2 SILENT, VKN5, SVKN1, VKN5P and fan coil units CVK2, CVK4, CVK2P, CVK4P. This makes it easy to adapt it to an existing installation. Remember to include the grille in the order – it is an additional element, not an integral part of the heater or fan coil unit.
Construction and characteristic features
The grille is characterized by a solid construction based on an I-beam profile. The rungs are separated by black PVC sleeves, maintaining an aesthetic appearance and ensuring a uniform spacing (13 mm). Anodized aluminum is a lightweight yet durable material – resistant to moisture and temperature changes. The length of the grille is 1650 mm, the height is 18 mm, and the width is 370 mm. This design allows for easy installation and removal if servicing the installation is necessary.
Installation and additional information
In the case of VK15 and VKN channel heaters, pay attention to matching the frame to the heater tub – the frame should be ordered at the same time as the grille to ensure an aesthetic appearance and proper system operation. Various types of frames (type L and F) and finish colors (natural aluminum, anodized in various shades, and painted) are available. The frame is mounted using silicone adhesive. Remember to properly install the channel heater - the manufacturer is not responsible for problems resulting from incorrect frame installation due to errors during heater installation.
