Collapsible grille – a practical solution for ducted heating and air conditioning systems

The satin-finish anodized aluminum collapsible grille is a finishing element for use in heating and air conditioning installations. The I-beam profile with dimensions of 14x145 mm provides stability and an aesthetic appearance. It is particularly useful when installing ducted heaters and fan coil units, where proper air distribution and concealment of structural elements are important.

Construction and installation

The grille made of aluminum is characterized by durability and corrosion resistance. Anodizing in satin color gives it an elegant look that blends well with various interior designs. It is standardly equipped with black PVC sleeves, spaced 13 mm apart. This ensures even airflow. Additionally, PVC sleeves in other colors – gray, beige, light brown and dark brown – are optionally available, allowing it to be matched to the room's color scheme.

Applications and compatibility

The collapsible grille is a dedicated accessory for popular models of ducted heaters VK12, VK15, VKN1, VKN2 SILENT, VKN5, SVKN1 and VKN5P. It will also work with CVK2, CVK4, CVK2P and CVK4P fan coil units. Remember to include the grille in your order – it is not standardly included with these devices.

Additional information for installers

• Grilles with F or L type frames are also available (must be ordered separately). The frame covers the space between the floor and the ducted heater tub and should be ordered at the same time as the heater, especially for VK15 and VKN models.
• The frame is available in natural aluminum, anodized and painted versions.
• The frame is mounted using silicone adhesive. Exercise caution during installation to avoid deformation of the heater tub.
• The maximum length of a single section of the grille is 6000 mm.
