Collapsible grille – a practical solution for ducted heating and air conditioning systems

The satin-finish anodized aluminum collapsible grille is a finishing element for use in heating and air conditioning installations. The I-beam profile with dimensions of 17x200 mm provides stability and an aesthetic appearance. This is particularly important when installing ducted heaters and fan coil units, where the grille is a visible element of the system.

Construction and installation

The aluminum grille is characterized by its lightweight and corrosion resistance. Anodizing in a satin finish gives it an elegant look that blends well with various interior designs. It is standardly equipped with black PVC sleeves spaced 13 mm apart. This ensures optimal airflow while maintaining aesthetics. Additionally, PVC sleeves in other colors – gray, beige, light brown and dark brown – are optionally available, allowing it to be matched to the interior color scheme.

Application and compatibility

The collapsible grille is a dedicated accessory for popular models of ducted heaters VK12, VK15, VKN1, VKN2 SILENT, VKN5, SVKN1 and VKN5P. It will also work with CVK2, CVK4, CVK2P and CVK4P fan coil units. Remember to include the grille in your order – it is not standardly included with these devices.

Additional information for installers

When installing the grille, it is worth paying attention to the possibility of using L or F type frames (available separately), which mask the space between the floor and the heater's tub. The frame should be ordered at the same time as the heater, especially in the case of VK15 and VKN models, where the heater tub design differs with and without a frame. The frame is mounted using silicone adhesive. Remember to install the heater correctly – deformations of the tub may affect the correct fit of the frame.
