Collapsible grille – a practical solution for ducted heating and air conditioning systems

The satin anodized aluminum collapsible grille is a finishing element for heating and air conditioning installations. Made of a 25x230 mm I-beam profile, it provides an aesthetic appearance and functionality. It is a standard additional equipment for popular models of ducted heaters VK12, VK15, VKN1, VKN2 SILENT, VKN5, SVKN1, VKN5P and fan coil units CVK2, CVK4, CVK2P and CVK4P. Remember to include it in your order!

Construction and characteristic features

The grille is characterized by a folding/collapsible design, which makes it easy to adapt to different dimensions of ventilation ducts. Made of satin anodized aluminum, it is resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage. Special attention was paid to the details – black PVC sleeves ensure an aesthetic finish and maintain the appropriate distance between the bars (13 mm).

Additionally, optional PVC sleeves are available in other colors: gray, beige, light brown and dark brown – allowing for a perfect match to the interior color scheme. The length of the grille is 2300 mm and its width is 270 mm. The height is 18 mm.

Application and assembly

The I-beam collapsible grille is ideal for use in ventilation and air conditioning systems where adjustable air distribution is required. It can also be used as a decorative element masking ventilation ducts. In the case of VK15 and VKN ducted heaters, remember to order the frame at the same time (available in versions: natural aluminum, anodized or painted) – especially if the heater has a factory frame. The frame is mounted using silicone glue.
