Collapsible grille – a practical solution for ducted heating and air conditioning systems

The satin-finish anodized aluminum collapsible grille is a finishing element for heating and air conditioning installations. Made of an I-beam profile (35x200 mm), it provides an aesthetic appearance and functionality. It is dedicated to VK12, VK15, VKN1, VKN2 SILENT, VKN5, SVKN1, VKN5P channel heaters and CVK2, CVK4, CVK2P, CVK4P fan coil units – remember to include it in your order!

Construction and characteristic features

The grille is characterized by a folding/collapsible design, which makes it easy to adapt to different dimensions of ventilation ducts. Made of aluminum anodized in satin, it is resistant to corrosion and mechanical damage. It is standardly equipped with black PVC sleeves, which provide an aesthetic finish and stability. The spacing between the bars is 13 mm.

Additionally, PVC sleeves are available in other colors: gray, beige, light brown and dark brown – they allow for a perfect match of the grille to the interior color scheme. The possibility of ordering a grille with an F or L type frame (natural aluminum, anodized or painted) increases the range of applications and allows for precise masking of the space between the floor and the channel heater tub.

Installation and compatibility

The frame (available separately) is mounted using silicone adhesive. Remember to properly install the channel heater to avoid deformation of the tub and problems with frame mounting. For VK15 and VKN channel heaters, it is recommended to order the frame at the same time as the heater due to differences in tub design.
