PP tee 110mm 301-110-V
PP-R Tee 110mm – a reliable installation element
Tee made of PP-R polypropylene, designed for connecting pipes in water supply and heating systems. This fitting serves to branch the installation, allowing for the extension of an additional pipe section at a right angle. It is an essential element in creating complex network branches, ensuring tightness and durability of connections.
This specific tee with a diameter of 110mm is designed for welding, which guarantees a durable and impermeable connection. The use of PP-R polypropylene ensures resistance to corrosion and high temperatures, making it an ideal solution for both hot and cold water installations, as well as central heating.
Properties and application
PP-R tees are widely used in residential, commercial and industrial construction. Due to their strength and chemical resistance, they are perfect for systems transporting drinking water, utility water, glycol and other media that are not hazardous to polypropylene. Welding PP-R elements requires the use of specialized welding machines, which ensure the appropriate temperature and connection time.
- Versatility: Can be used in hot and cold water installations and central heating systems.
- Durability: Welded connection ensures tightness and resistance to pressure and temperature changes.
- Chemical resistance: PP-R polypropylene is resistant to corrosion and the action of many chemicals.
- Easy installation: Welding is a relatively simple process, but requires appropriate equipment and skills.
- Hygiene: The material does not affect the quality of the transported water.
Construction and operating parameters
The tee is made of high-quality PP-R (type 3) polypropylene copolymer, which guarantees its mechanical and thermal strength. This polypropylene is characterized by a low linear expansion coefficient (0.15 mm/mK), which minimizes stresses in the installation caused by temperature changes. The maximum operating temperature of the tee is 95°C at a nominal pressure of PN10 or PN16 (depending on the pipe used). It is important to properly select the parameters of pipes and fittings to the operating conditions of the installation.
