PP-R Pipes – Reliability and Durability in Water Systems

VESBO PN16 PP-R pipes with a diameter of 75 mm and a wall thickness of 10.3 mm are designed for the construction of hot and cold water supply installations, as well as central heating systems. They are characterized by high corrosion resistance, low wall roughness (0.007 mm), and dimensional stability, ensuring long-term and trouble-free operation. Made of high-quality static polypropylene copolymer PP-R (type 3), they meet the requirements of EN ISO 15874, DIN 8077, and DIN 8078.

These pipes are particularly valued for their ease of installation – welding fittings allows for the creation of tight and durable connections. The linear expansion coefficient of 0.15 mm/(m.K) should be taken into account when designing the installation to compensate for changes in pipe length due to temperature. The pressure class PN16 means that these pipes are suitable for operation at a nominal pressure of 16 bar in hot and cold water systems. The standardized dimension ratio (SDR) is 7.4.
