Construction and materials

The valve is made of steel, which ensures its strength and corrosion resistance. The valve ball is entirely made of stainless steel (X5CrNi18-10 / 1.4301), guaranteeing long-term tightness and resistance to gas action. The ball seal made of PTFE+C provides additional sealing confidence. The valve stem is made of stainless steel (X8CrNiS18-9 / 1.4305), which increases its durability and corrosion resistance. Valve compensation allows for stable operation under various pressure and temperature conditions.

Application and functionality

This valve model is intended for use in gas installations with a nominal diameter of DN80 and a pressure of PN16. The flanged connection facilitates the installation and removal of the valve in existing installations. The reduced bore minimizes pressure loss of the flowing gas, which translates to energy efficiency of the system. The possibility of replacing the stem seal in case of leakage is an important feature that allows extending the valve's life and reducing operating costs – the entire valve does not need to be replaced in case of minor seal failures.

Standards and operating parameters

The valve meets the EN 1092-1 standard regarding flanges. It is adapted to work at temperatures from -40°C to +70°C, however, at temperatures above 70°C or below -30°C, it is recommended to contact the manufacturer to determine appropriate operating parameters. Leakage class A (EN 12266-1) ensures minimal risk of leaks. It should be remembered that the valve is not intended for use with steam.
