90° Elbow with Sanpress XL System — Unified Press Connection, EPDM Seal

One-piece 90° elbow, made of bronze, designed for installation in systems with pipes of 108 mm outer diameter. Press-type connection — requires no threading, welding, or mechanical assembly. Only a Sanpress XL press tool is needed for installation.

One side features a compression sleeve, the other a push-in socket. Both ends are in raw condition: without coatings or surface treatment. No cleaning or preparation is required before pressing — the pipe inserts directly into the connection, and the EPDM seal ensures tightness from the first press.

The seal is pre-installed and made of ethylene-propylene-diene rubber (EPDM). Resistant to temperatures up to 110°C and pressures up to 16 bar at 20°C — proven in drinking water, heating, and cooling installations. This value is confirmed for this model and is independent of the medium type.

The component features SC-Contur — a special internal geometry that enables detection of improperly made connections even at low pressures: from 1 bar in water or 0.3 bar in air. If the press tool did not apply sufficient force, the connection will not remain tight. This is not an optional feature — it is an integral part of the system's operation.

The lengths of these connections — 145 mm for the sleeve and 140 mm for the socket — are matched to the standard pipe length in the Sanpress XL system. The sealing area on the socket side occupies 75.8 mm of working space.

Connection material 2 is bronze. Connection material 1 is "Other" — the design of this component does not allow for unambiguous determination of the material composition of the inner part of the sleeve.

This is not a universal component. It is a specific component: 90°, for 108 mm, with pressable ends, featuring EPDM and SC-Contur.
