45° Elbow with Press Fittings, Designed for Press Systems
This is a one-piece 45° elbow designed for installation in press systems with pipes having an outer diameter of 108 mm. Both ends feature identical press fittings—no threads, nuts, or additional components are required. Installation is performed solely using press tools—the connection is fast, leak-tight, and requires no welding.
The seals are made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene rubber), pre-installed, and do not require manual assembly. This material withstands temperatures up to 110 °C in heating installations and up to 85 °C in potable water systems—without loss of flexibility. It is not resistant to hydrocarbon solvents, gasoline, or turpentine—avoid contact with these substances.
Connection material 1 is "Other", connection 2 is bronze. The component has two different surfaces—one end is made of a different alloy, the other of bronze.
The protection and surface treatment of both ends is "raw state"—no coatings, paints, or additional coverings are applied. The surface is natural, unpolished, and unchromed—which affects the characteristics during press installation. This does not alter functionality but may impact aesthetics in exposed installations.
The component features SC-Contur—a crimped contour such that uncrimped connections are detectable during leak testing at pressures from 0.1 MPa (1 bar) to 0.65 MPa (6.5 bar) in water, or from 22 hPa to 0.3 MPa in air/gases. This is not an "additional feature"—it is an integral part of the system's safety.
There is no drain valve, air vent, or reduction here. This is a simple elbow—without unnecessary components. The length of each fitting: 76.1 mm. Working length: 76.8 mm—both values are identical for both ends.
Intended for system pipes—i.e., those meeting standards for potable water and heating installations. Operating pressure up to 16 bar at 20 °C—sufficient for most applications: from residential heating installations to industrial lines for compressed air or inert gases.
