90° Elbow with Press Fittings, Made of Bronze, with Integrated EPDM Seals

The 90° elbow, model 2216XL, is a one-piece component of the Sanpress XL system, designed for installation in water supply, heating, and industrial piping systems. Both ends feature press fittings – no threading or welding is required; assembly is performed using presses. All sealing elements are pre-installed and ready for use – no additional installation of rings or sealants is necessary.

The connection material is bronze (CC499K), and the seals are made of EPDM rubber – resistant to temperatures from -25°C to 110°C and to various media, including potable water, heat transfer fluids, rainwater, and inert gases. The working pressure of up to 16 bar at 20°C allows use in both heating and water supply systems – even at high temperatures (up to 110°C in heating systems).

The SC-Contur feature guarantees visible and technical quality control of the joint: an unpressed fitting will not maintain pressure above 1 bar – any error is immediately detectable during the pressure test. This not only increases installation safety but also eliminates the risk of hidden leaks after work completion.

Outer pipe diameter: 88.9 mm. Length of each connection: 120 mm. Working length (internal part inserted into the pipe): 66.8 mm – ensuring stable and precise pressing without the risk of exceeding the allowable insertion depth.

There are no reducers, valves, or air vents here – this is a pure elbow. There is also no surface coating: the bronze remains in its raw state. This is not a defect – it is a design feature. The raw surface ensures optimal adhesion during pressing and does not affect tightness or durability.

All these elements function as a single coherent system: bronze + EPDM + SC-Contur + pressing. There is no room for compromise.
