90° Bronze Elbow, Sanpress System — Press Fitting with Leak Detection

Single-piece bronze component designed for installation in piping systems with an outer diameter of 15 mm. The connection is made using the press method, requiring a specialized Sanpress press tool. Soldering, gluing, or mechanical crimping are not used. The coupling and insert end are designed for pipes of the same dimension—both connections accommodate a 15 mm pipe.

The EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) seal is factory-installed and requires no additional handling. The Sanpress system with SC-Contur enables detection of unpressed connections during system filling—at water pressure from 0.1 to 6.5 bar, and at air pressure from 22 hPa to 3 bar. This does not mean that leak tests are unnecessary; they remain mandatory in accordance with installation regulations.

The component operates in systems with potable water, heating, rainwater, compressed air, as well as in agricultural and industrial applications. Maximum working pressure: 16 bar at 20°C. Operating temperature up to 85°C for potable water, up to 110°C for heating systems. Elbow angle: exactly 90°. Coupling length: 45 mm, insert end length: 49 mm—both values are design parameters of the connections, not pipe dimensions.

Does not include drain valves, air vents, or reducers. Compatible only with system pipes of 15 mm diameter. Connection surfaces are not machined and remain in the raw state.
