90° Elbow with Stainless Steel 316 Pipe – Press-Fit Assembly, SC-Contur

The elbow, manufactured from stainless steel 316 (1.4401), is designed for use in potable water installations, heating systems, and other hydraulic circuits requiring corrosion resistance and high-pressure capability. Both ends feature press-fit couplings – installation is performed using a pressing tool, eliminating the need for welding or threading.

Seals made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene monomer rubber) ensure tightness at temperatures up to 110 °C and a working pressure of up to 16 bar at 20 °C. They are compatible exclusively with pipes having an outer diameter of 15 mm and are not compatible with other sizes.

The elbow's shape is rigidly fixed and does not deform during assembly, facilitating precise alignment with existing installations. The SC-Contur contour enables visual verification of correct pressing: if the connection has not been properly crimped, the green indicator on the mandrel remains invisible.

Each connection has a length of 40 mm, while the working length (the portion contacting the pipe) is 15.9 mm – a standard value for the Sanpress Inox system. The elbow features no reduction, no drain valve, and no air vent; it is a simple flow-direction-changing component.

Dimensions: pipe outer diameter 15 mm, dimension Z = 16 mm, length L = 38 mm. The component is intended solely for press-fitted piping systems and is unsuitable for threaded or welded connections.

Applications: potable water installations in residential buildings, heating systems, fire protection systems, industrial hydraulic circuits. Not suitable for gases or chemically aggressive media.

Installation requires a specialized pressing tool and a qualified installer. Do not attempt manual installation or use tools other than those recommended by the manufacturer.
