90° elbow made of solid stainless steel 316, with crimped connections

The component is made of stainless steel 316 (1.4401), seamless and from a single piece—there are no areas where corrosion could occur at the joint. Crimp fittings on both ends allow for installation without welding, threading, or gluing—only a Sanpress system press tool is required.

The seals are made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene), resistant to temperatures from -25°C to 110°C, and retain flexibility even after numerous thermal cycles. This is crucial for heating and domestic water installations where the medium temperature frequently changes.

A stop collar at each end prevents pipe movement during crimping—installation is repeatable, with no risk of the pipe slipping before the press is applied.

Dimensions are matched to pipes with an outer diameter of 18 mm—no need to search for adapters or combine with other systems. The connection length is 40 mm, and the working length (i.e., the part actually crimped) is 17.5 mm—exactly as required by the Sanpress system standard.

Working pressure up to 16 bar at 20°C—sufficient for most water supply and heating installations in residential and commercial buildings. There is no need for additional safety valves or pressure limiters if the installation is designed in accordance with standards.

The KIWA certificate confirms compliance with requirements for systems delivering potable water—it contains no materials harmful to health and meets hygiene criteria.
