90° Elbow with SC-Contur – Safe and Ready-to-Mount Connection

Elbow made of bronze, with an EPDM seal, designed for use in Sanpress systems – where a fast, reliable, and hermetic connection of copper pipes is required. No welding or threading is needed. Simply compress it using the appropriate tool – and you have a connection that meets standards for potable water and heating installations.

All connection surfaces are in a raw state – there are no coatings, paints, or additional protections. This means there is no risk of damaging the seal during compression. The EPDM seal is resistant to temperatures from -25°C to 110°C and ensures the connection maintains pressure up to 16 bar at 20°C – without leaks, even under cyclic thermal loading.

One-piece connection – no screws, nuts, or additional components. One end is a compression socket, the other – a push-in end. Both have an identical outer diameter of 22 mm, meaning it fits standard 22 mm (1/2 inch) copper pipes. No reductions, no eccentricity – just a simple, precise 90-degree elbow.

Connection lengths: 48 mm on the socket side, 47 mm on the push-in side. This is not a random difference – it was designed to ensure proper pipe insertion depth and stability during compression. No adjustments or modifications are needed – it fits VIEGA Profipress tools and other compatible systems.

Compatible with the Sanpress pipe system – meaning it works only with copper pipes intended for this system. Do not install it on pipes from other manufacturers or types.

Does not contain a drain valve, air vent, or any additional functions. It is a purely mechanical component – simple but effective. It operates without maintenance and requires no inspection after installation – if properly compressed, it functions for the entire life of the installation.
