90° Elbow with One Press-Fit Connection and One Threaded Connection

The component is made of bronze, without additional protective coating – the surface remains in its raw state, ensuring direct contact with the pipe and minimizing the risk of chemical interactions with other materials. Designed as a one-piece construction, it has no seams or bolted joints, eliminating potential leak points.

One side features a press-fit coupling compatible with pipes having an outer diameter of 35 mm – perfectly suited for Sanpress and SC-Contur systems. The other side has a metric internal thread Rp 1¼ (32 mm), allowing direct connection to valves, radiators, or other components with external threads. Note: although the connection diameters differ (35 mm and 32 mm), the elbow is reducing and does not require additional adapters.

All connections are sealed with a built-in EPDM gasket – an elastomer resistant to temperatures from -40°C to +120°C and to chlorine, hot water, and chemicals used in sanitary installations. The gasket requires no additional lubrication or tension during installation – only pressing and tightening of the thread are needed.

A working pressure of up to 16 bar at 20°C makes this elbow suitable for both heating systems and high-pressure potable water installations. It is not a component for temporary use; it is designed for permanent installation in pressurized piping systems.

Installation is simple: press-fit one side using the appropriate tool, and tighten the other by hand or with a wrench – no welding, soldering, or adhesive is required. The absence of additional installation materials saves time and costs for the installer. For the end user, this means longer system lifespan and reduced risk of failures.

The elbow functions as a full-fledged component of the piping system – it does not require additional supports or thermal insulation beyond what is dictated by the installation layout itself.
