90° Elbow with Press-Fit Connection and Rp Thread

Fitting manufactured from stainless steel 316 (1.4401), designed for durable installation in water supply and heating systems. One side features a SC-Contur press-fit socket – compatible with pipes of 35 mm outer diameter – while the other side has a metric internal thread Rp 1¼. Both connection types are made from the same grade of steel, eliminating the risk of corrosion and ensuring material uniformity throughout the component.

The seal made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) offers resistance to temperatures ranging from -40°C to +120°C and chemical stability against potable, hot, and cooling water. No additional sealing is required – installation is performed using a standard pressing tool, without the need for pastes, tapes, or adhesives.

The elbow has a 90° angle and is a one-piece design – it contains no moving parts, valves, or air vents. This ensures reliable long-term operation and eliminates the need for maintenance. The press-fit connection length is 62 mm, and the threaded connection length is 42 mm, allowing easy installation even in confined spaces.

The maximum working pressure rating of 16 bar at 20°C indicates suitability for both domestic systems and commercial installations – without concern for overloads during pump operation or pressure drops.

Compliant with VdS requirements, confirming its approval for use in water supply systems across Europe. It contains no materials hazardous to water quality and meets all standards regarding contact with potable water.

Installation is fast and clean: no sparks, no soldering, and no threading required. Simply insert the pipe into the socket and press – the connection becomes hermetic immediately. The Rp thread enables easy connection to valves, faucets, or end devices without the need for additional adapters.
