Bypass elbow with SC-Contur – a simple way to change pipe direction without soldering

The Profipress 2427 bypass elbow is a press-fit system component that enables smooth flow direction changes in copper installations – without soldering, without burning, and without additional surface treatment. Both connection ends are pre-crimped, and the pipe is inserted internally, meaning there is no need to clean or polish the pipe ends before installation. All you need: cut the pipe, deburr, insert the elbow, and press.

All connections come pre-equipped with EPDM seals – an elastomer resistant to temperatures up to 110°C and pressures up to 16 bar. There is no need to add or replace seals during installation. Just one operation is required: pressing.
