Bypass Elbow with SC-Contur – Safe and Visually Verified Connection

The 352158 bypass elbow is a one-piece copper component designed to create smooth bends in water supply and heating installations. Press connections are manufactured according to the Profipress technology – they require no welding, and their tightness is guaranteed by EDPM seals. Each component features a built-in SC-Contur – a micro-groove on the surface that turns green after pressing. This is the only visual method to confirm correct installation without the need for additional tools or pressure tests.

All connections are designed for copper pipes with an outer diameter of 22 mm. The working length of each connection is 115 mm – sufficient to ensure stability and avoid stress during installation in tight spaces. The elbow angle is exactly 90°, allowing smooth changes in flow direction without creating resistance points or turbulence.

For the Installer – Simplicity and Control

Installation requires no welding or threading. All that is needed is the appropriate pressing tool – the process takes only a few seconds. SC-Contur eliminates the risk of error: if the green line is not visible after pressing, the connection is not tight. There is no need to guess whether it "looks good" – it is immediately visible. The absence of surface coating (raw condition) means the component has no additional layer of paint or chrome that could peel off during repeated installations or under aggressive conditions.

For the End User – Durability and Safety

The system operates safely at a maximum pressure of 16 bar and a temperature up to +110°C – meeting the requirements of most modern heating and domestic hot water systems. EDPM seals are resistant to aging, chloride exposure, and cyclic temperatures. There is no need to worry about "leaks after a few years" – if the installation was correct, the connection will perform just as well in 20 years.

There are no drain valves, air vents, or reducers – just a simple, clean elbow. Only what is needed.
