Copper crimp fitting, 14 mm – one-piece, with SC-Contur

This is a simple, one-piece component for joining two copper pipes with an outer diameter of 14 mm. Designed for use in Profipress press-fit systems, it requires no welding or threading—only the appropriate press tool. The joint is leak-tight from the first press, and its quality can be verified without tools: unpressed joints are detected at water pressure from 0.1 MPa (1 bar) and air pressure from 22 hPa.

The seal, made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene rubber), is pre-installed and requires no additional assembly. It is resistant to temperatures up to 110 °C and pressures up to 16 bar, making it suitable for both domestic hot water and heating installations. It is not suitable for contact with solvents, gasoline, or chlorinated hydrocarbons.

The fitting length is 41 mm, and its construction from 99.9% Cu-DHP (phosphorus-deoxidized copper) ensures corrosion resistance and mechanical stability. The internal guide tube protects the seal from damage during pressing—a key feature of the SC-Contur system.

It operates safely in both surface-mounted and concealed installations. It is compatible with the following systems:
