Connection with one press and one threaded end

A double connector built from one SC-Contur press fitting and a G 2 inch internal thread. Designed for connecting a 35 mm copper pipe to a device or pipeline with a metric thread. Both ends are made of bronze, without any additional coating – the surface remains in its raw state, ensuring stability and predictability during installation.

Seals are made of EPDM elastomer, resistant to temperatures up to 110 °C and pressures up to 16 bar. They are pre-installed and require no additional handling. The use of flat sealing ensures leak-tightness without the need for thread tape or paste.

The threaded nut is made of brass – not bronze, as in the case of the connector itself. This is a significant design difference: brass allows for multiple disconnections and tightening without the risk of thread damage, which is useful during servicing or hydraulic tests.

Why does it work in practice?

• SC-Contur press – enables fast, safe installation of 35 mm copper pipe. All improperly crimped connections are detectable during pressure testing – even at low pressure (0.1 bar with water or 22 hPa with air). No need to guess whether the connection is correct.
• G 2 inch thread – a standard size for many valves, radiators, pumps, and devices. No need to purchase additional adapters.
• Length 51 mm – compact design, does not take up space during installation in tight areas. Ideal for underfloor installations or within walls.
• VdS compliance – meets the requirements of the German certification system for water supply and heating systems. This is not just a brand – it is proven reliability.

Where is it used?

In long-lasting installations: – Potable water (up to 85 °C) – Heating (up to 110 °C) – Air conditioning and cooling – Compressed air or inert gas flows – Rainwater and industrial systems

Not suitable for flammable gases or aggressive media. However, for most building systems – it is one of the most proven solutions.
