Reducing element with Sanpress XL system

One-piece reducing coupling made of bronze, designed for installation in the Sanpress XL system. Connection 1 is a push-in fitting with an outer diameter of 108 mm; connection 2 is a crimping sleeve with an outer diameter of 76.1 mm. Both ends are in raw condition—without coatings, paints, or surface treatments—ensuring a clean and uninterrupted connection during crimping.

Both sides utilize SC-Contur technology, meaning a precisely profiled pipe surface that enables a tight and durable connection using standard Sanpress XL tools. No additional gaskets or mounting components are required—sealing is provided by a single EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene) gasket, resistant to temperatures from -40°C to +120°C and compatible with potable water, hot water, and cooling water.

Maximum working pressure is 16 bar at 20°C—sufficient for heating, water supply, and ventilation installations. The coupling is system-specific, meaning it is designed exclusively for use with Sanpress XL pipes. It is not suitable for other systems or pipes with different diameters.

It does not include a drain valve or air vent. It is a pure connecting element—absence of additional components means fewer failure points and simpler installation. Installation requires only the appropriate crimping tool and precise insertion of the pipe to the end of the SC-Contur profile.
