Reducing element 108.0 x 88.9 brown / glossy, model 22151XL 354718

Reducing element with Sanpress XL system

One-piece reducing element designed to connect a pipe with an outer diameter of 108 mm to a pipe with a diameter of 88.9 mm in the Sanpress XL system. One side features a push-in end (for insertion), while the other side has a compression sleeve. Both connection types utilize the SC-Contur contour, which ensures precise pipe centering during installation and stability during pressing.

The fitting is made of bronze. The push-in end and the compression sleeve have no additional coating—both ends are in the raw state, which is standard for Sanpress XL components intended for concealed installation. The seal, made of EPDM (ethylene-propylene-diene), ensures leak-tightness without the need for pastes or additional agents. It works together with a metal ring that is pressed using a pressing tool.

It does not include a drain valve or air vent. It is a passive component—used solely for connection, without regulation or air venting functions.

The maximum working pressure is 16 bar at 20°C—sufficient for water supply, heating, and district heating systems in residential and commercial buildings. The component is system-specific—it operates exclusively with Sanpress XL pipes. It is not suitable for installation on pipes from other manufacturers or other systems.

Installation requires precise preparation of pipe ends: cutting perpendicularly, deburring, and cleaning the surface. After inserting the pipe into the appropriate end and pressing the sleeve, the connection becomes permanent and non-disassemblable. It cannot be taken apart after installation.

Dimensions: 108 mm (push-in) → 88.9 mm (compression). The difference in diameters is not an error—it is a designed flow reduction. Do not use this component where identical flow capacity is required on both ends.
